Instead you could by a small container of creamer that you like, and then you can put it in your desk at work and drink the coffee there for much cheaper than stopping to buy one.
Shopping because we want something, not because we need it, or out of emotion is another way that we waste money on a regular basis. One thing that you can do instead is to shop at your local thrift stores. You can find many different things and you will not be paying a lot of money for it. You can get great deals at thrift stores, and you usually do not have buyer’s remorse later on.
Want to see a movie? Instead of spending the money to go to a theater or to rent a movie why not go to the library? When you borrow movies from your local library they are free. Not only are they free but usually you are able to keep them for around a week so if you want to watch it again, you can.
There are many people who do not like cutting coupons. Get over it. Coupons can save you a lot of money over the course of a year. Taking some time to go through your local paper, online websites, and checking your receipts for savings, is very much worth the effort. If you have some that you will not use but you have a friend who will, do a coupon swap. That way you both have a coupon that you use, instead of you both having a coupons that you will not use.
It is the small things that can make the biggest difference, simply because you never thought about those things. If you stop to think about it, you will probably find even more ways that you can cut back just a little here and there to make a difference in your budget. You do not have to go overboard, but this is a great way to make your budget stretch farther.
